KIND WORDS FROM A DEALER ATTENDEE…

KIND WORDS FROM A DEALER ATTENDEE…

I recently attended the AutoAction Dealer Education Seminar, hosted by AutoAction. Being new to the AutoAction DMS family, my goal was to learn a bit more about their products and services. I got that, and much more! The full-day event was filled with incredible presentations from their IT staff, integrated system partners, and many top officials from our industry regulatory agencies.

After nearly 35 years in business to date using a verity of other leading DMS systems, I honestly made the change to AutoAction at first glance due to the reasonable cost. I had no idea, how much more I would be getting from the system, or how much more user friendly and easy it would be to integrate several other companies they’ve partnered with on their platform.

Carl Miller, Sales Manager of AutoAction, and the seminar emcee, asked for a list of questions from the attendees detailing exactly what they would like to know about the program, and what potential functions they needed to improve their businesses. It was the most informative and impressing rundown of functionality I’ve seen in a DMS.

Their integrated partners also gave outstanding presentations on how easily their systems work together, and how beneficial it is to the bottom line, introducing real dealers using those systems that were attending the seminar. I was especially pleased to hear and see how many larger dealers were using AutoAction as their only DMS of choice, proving their technology remains cutting edge for growing dealers of all sizes.

Lastly, the seminar was finished off with a wealth of knowledge from regulatory agencies top officials that regulate and license our businesses. This included OCCC, TXDMV, an attorney and others. What set this seminar apart from others I’ve attended in the past several years; is how well the regulatory agencies discussed and negotiated reasonable applications, policies and procedures recommended to stay compliant while using AutoAction and their integrated platforms. It literally took all of the guesswork out of what would be considered compliant, and what wouldn’t when it comes to our day to day operations.

All things considered, the only thing I would have changed about my attendance to the seminar, is how next time I’ll bring more of my staff. It was a very informative and worthwhile event that they all could have benefited from.
